Cooler Master is calling all the case modders out there to come and join in the Case Mod World Series 2019 (#CNWS2019). Cooler Master has taken the 2019 competition to the next level, offering a larger prize pool with different leagues which will open the CMWS up to more people. If you think you have what it takes, then take a look at the below!

The Cooler Master CMWS has been around for a decade now, inviting modders from all over the world to showcase their talent or hobby – that of modding a case. Not sure what a case more entails? Well, all you have to do is take a look at a few pictures below. Case Modding is where a person uses their imagination to create a new style of case – maybe not the most practical case – to show off their artistic skill and what they can do with their hands.
The CMWS2019 brings modders and judges from all over the world into one place. Each case is judged in different categories. The exhibition hall, when people show off their cases, is eye candy to anyone who loves all things computers.

As I mentioned, this is opened to anyone around the world, who thinks they have what it takes to compete in this competition. Cooler Master has also incorporated two different leagues now, hoping to attract some newer style and blood to CMWS.

The Master League:

This league is dedicated for established and experienced modders who will be crowned the best of #CMWS19. This category will host both technological wonders and artful masterpieces. Winners will craft their way into modding history, marking their name in the world’s largest modding competition.

The Apprentice League:

This league welcomes newcomers and up-and-coming talent looking to take their hobby of modding to the next level. Apprentices will have a different stage to compete in and be allowed to gain the support they need. A total of 5 winners will be chosen from the Apprentice League, and each winner will receive $1,000 worth of CM store vouchers and a chance to work closely with Cooler Master after the event.

Those prizes are unbelievable and seem like a dream come true.

If you think you have what it takes, sign up here, and pay close attention to the competition dates!

I’ll be keeping a close eye on the competition, and hope to see some local case modders out there representing us down here in South Africa. An update to the article will go live as soon as the competition is over. If you are thinking about joining, let me know and will keep your worked showcased here as well!
